Maria has been in the florist industry for over 15 years in which time she has worked with some of the best florists in Sydney. After having her own floral boutique for several years Maria decided to dedicate herself entirely to events as she found this to be the most self rewarding.

Maria’s floristry skills come naturally to her, as does her passion for using seasonal flowers so that they are at the most luscious, thus earning her nickname Maria Lush. Maria Lush and her staff dedicate themselves to your wedding day, from bouquet and buttonhole deliveries to ceremony and reception set up and pack down, often right up until freshening  your grooms buttonhole when he’s about to walk you in.

Her passion to make your day as perfect as nature allows is something Maria prides herself on, the quality of Marias floral designs cannot be surpassed and her personal service on your wedding day will be comforting to both Bride and Groom.

Having worked on many weddings some of the highlights have been Guy and Jules Sebastian, Ada Nicodimou and her husband Nick and Michael Clarke and Lara Bingle’s engagement , but no matter who you are Maria will treat you as a VIP and always exceed your expectations.

Since coming into events Maria has worked closely with many industry people. In the last five years she has formed a working relationship with wedding stylist Anthony Del Col, together they work tirelessly to create your dream wedding. Maria and Anthony will take the stress out of planning your wedding day and are your support team for when and as long as you need them, helping you with all those tricky decisions, happy to work side by side on logistical and creative solutions is why this combination works so well.

Maria is happy to talk to you about your needs and wants, and is flexible in providing a solution for you. She can work solely as the florist for your wedding, work with or advise your own chosen people, or help you plan the entire event using her own experienced team and contacts she has come to trust over the years.
